Terms of service

1. Agreement
By using VOLNARA ("Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service lets you generate PCB designs from natural language using verified templates, automated layout and routing, and export (BOM, pick-and-place, KiCad). If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. Accounts and subscriptions
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We offer Free, Pro, and Business subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase as described in our refund policy.
3. Use of the service
You may use the Service only for lawful hardware design purposes. You must not use it to create designs that violate export controls, safety regulations (e.g. product safety, EMC), or third-party intellectual property. You must not attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or authentication controls. Automated bulk usage (scraping, bots) is prohibited without prior written permission.
4. Plan limits and fair use
Each plan includes a monthly AI generation allowance that resets every 30 days. Unused credits do not roll over. We reserve the right to adjust limits with 30 days notice. Abuse of the free tier (e.g. creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits) may result in account suspension.
5. Ownership of designs
You retain all rights to the designs you create with the Service. Outputs such as Gerber files, BOM, pick-and-place data, KiCad files, and schematics generated from your prompts belong to you, subject to any third-party terms that apply to the templates or libraries used. We do not claim ownership of your design data.
6. Service "as is" and liability
The Service is provided "as is." We run design-rule and electrical checks where implemented, but we do not guarantee that every design is manufacturable, safe, or fit for a particular use. You are responsible for reviewing and validating your designs (including DRC, ERC, and physical verification) before manufacturing. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from your use of generated designs or exports.
7. Availability and changes
We may change or discontinue features, APIs, or the Service with reasonable notice where practicable. We do not guarantee uptime or backward compatibility. For self-hosted or on-premise deployments, your agreement may specify separate SLA and support terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, abuse of plan limits, or for other reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. ownership, liability) will continue to apply after termination.
